A highlight of the program will be the release of a booklet entitled “A Salute to Anaheim High Fallen Heroes and Colonist Veterans.” Started in 2009 by the AHS Alumni Association, the booklet will include bios and photos of more than 60 alumni who died while in service, as well as stories of how the wars affected the lives of Anaheim residents.

“We’re working to ensure that our Anaheim High veterans, who served in the Pacific, Atlantic and all parts of the world in all branches of the military, will never be forgotten,” said Daisy Vuksanovich, a Class of 1946 graduate who heads the AHSAA Veterans Committee.
