The Feb. 20th (President’s Day) event at Western Hills Country Club www.golfwhcc.com includes a day of golf with contests\, awards\, goodie bag\, lunch\, beverages\, dinner\, auction\, opportunity drawing\, as well as a whole lot of fun for all involved\, including non-golfers and event volunteers! \nThere are several ways you can participate as a friend and supporter of Anaheim High. \n\nBecome an event sponsor and receive extra recognition and other benefits: 2017 Golf Classic Fact Sheet\nHost-A-Hole featuring your company’s food or drink products.\nDonate a gift for the opportunity drawing or silent auction\nPurchase a $75 tee-sign to advertise your business\, post a “Colonist Spirit”  message to the golfers or remember a family member or classmate.\nDonate an item for golfer goodie bags (150 pieces).\n\nOf course\, the best way to help is to sign up for golf\, attend just the dinner or help as an event volunteer. The sign-up fee is a deal at $150 a player. Sign-up by Jan. 20 and pay the $140 early-bird price. \nYou’ll get the best deal by signing up as a foursome at $540 ($135 a player) by Jan. 20. Dinner only is $35 and non-golfers are welcome. DESCRIPTION: \nAnaheim High will honor alumni who perished while serving their country from WWI to the War on Terror at a Veterans’ Day celebration Monday\, Nov. 7\, at the school’s Cook Auditorium. The 3 to 5 p.m. event is free and open to the public. \nA highlight of the program will be the release of a booklet entitled “A Salute to Anaheim High Fallen Heroes and Colonist Veterans.” Started in 2009 by the AHS Alumni Association\, the booklet will include bios and photos of more than 60 alumni who died while in service\, as well as stories of how the wars affected the lives of Anaheim residents. \n“We’re working to ensure that our Anaheim High veterans\, who served in the Pacific\, Atlantic and all parts of the world in all branches of the military\, will never be forgotten\,” said Daisy Vuksanovich\, a Class of 1946 graduate who heads the AHSAA Veterans Committee. \nTo submit the name of a graduate who has served in the Armed Forces\, please fill out the AHSAA Military Form and email back to anaheimalumni@yahoo.com or mail to AHSAA\, P.O.
