February 2011 was filled with opportunities for Colonists to connect with their classmates. The Feb. 4 AHS Alumni Association Pepz Pizza fundraiser drew a great crowd of Colonists who enjoyed an opportunity to dine with family and friends before attending a Varsity Basketball game.
The monthly alumni breakfast, held at Jagerhaus Restaurant, always attracts a full house and the February event was no exception. Alumni from the 1930s through to today’s Colonists were among attendees.
Alumni also participated in a February Career Fair held on the AHS campus and attended the Anaheim High Performing Arts Conservatory Feb. 11 & 12 performances of “Bye, Bye Birdie” at Cook Auditorium. The final February event was the 2nd Annual AHSAA Golf Classic on President’s Day, Feb. 21. The tournament was attended by more than 100 golfers, dinner-only guests and volunteers.
